Starting October 15th, visitors to St. Maarten are required to have their travel entry form. 

The St. Maarten Tourism Bureau is excited to announce the launch of the new Digital Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) Form. The website www.entry.sx will be available as of October 8th, 2024, and will serve as a critical resource for passengers entering our borders. The new Arrival Hall is scheduled for opening on October 15th, 2024. 

This new digital form aims to simplify the arrival process for travelers while ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations. By moving to a fully digital system, St. Maarten is aligning with modern travel requirements, providing visitors and citizens with a streamlined, efficient process. By embracing technological innovation and fostering strong interagency collaboration, PJIAE, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of TEATT are committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency for our travelers and our nation.

The ED form must be completed online before check-in for your flight, ensuring a smoother and more efficient travel experience for all travelers arriving in St. Maarten. This form is in compliance with the National Ordinance and is aimed at improving border security and enhancing the overall visitor experience. All travelers residing, transferring through or visiting St. Maarten and St. Martin (French side) are required to fill out this form. Each traveler in a group or family are required to complete this form. Travelers visiting, transferring through or residing in St. Maarten, will be able to fill out the form starting October 8th 2024. The requirement of having the form filled out will officially commence October 15th. Having the form will be a requirement as of October 15th. You can fill out your form on www.entry.sx

    • Article 8, line 2 from the National Ordinance states that a tourist is someone that is not staying more than 3 months on the island for recreation, relaxation, visiting family, having meetings. As long as the person is not being renumerated, they are considered a tourist.
